Any transaction that increases inventory at an inventory location.

Inbound documents include:

  • Purchase Receipts
  • Transfer Receipts
  • Production Output
  • Assembly Output
  • Sales Credits/Returns
  • Positive Adjustments
 Any transaction that does not increase/decrease inventory at an inventory location.

Move transactions include:

  • Picks
  • Put-aways
  • Bin-to-bin Moves (Reclass)

Any transaction that decreases inventory at an inventory location.

Inbound documents include:

  • Sales Shipments
  • Transfer Shipments
  • Production Consumption
  • Assembly Consumption
  • Purchase Credits/Returns
  • Negative Adjustments
