Create a Container Type

To manage containers based on weight and cubage, you can create container types.

To create a container type

1. Choose the icon, enter container types, and then choose the related link.

   The Container Types page opens.

2. For each container type that you want to create, perform the following steps:

   1. Choose New.

   2. In the Code field, enter a code to represent a way to group PM Procedures and PM Work Orders.

   3. In the Description field, enter a description for the code.

   4. In the Total Allowed Weight field, specify an amount.

   5. In the Total Allowed Cubage field, specify an amount.

   6. In the Pack Type field, specify a value.

      The Standard Weight UOM and Standard Cubage UOM fields are automatically populated.
