Export Sales History for ForecastX
This procedure is used to create a file of the sales history, which can be saved and then used by ForecastX.
To export a forecast
Choose the Search icon, enter export forecast, and select Export ForecastX Data.
Populate the following fields:
File Structure: Select if you want the forecasted sales to be reported by week or by month.
Starting Date: Select the start date of the sales history that you want to export.
Location Code: Select the location code.
On the Item FastTab, enter the necessary filters.
Click OK.
Save the file to a location on your machine.
From within Excel, you can open the file, and use ForecastX to generate the forecast and adjust the data as required, and then import into JustFood. For information on using ForecastX, go to the John Galt website.
