Assign a Property Code to a Quality Measure Code

A lot-tracked item can inherit the results of a quality audit when a property code is assigned to a quality measure code, and that quality measure code is then assigned to a quality procedure.

In order to assign a property code to a quality measure code, the following must be in place:

Property codes are defined on the Properties page
Quality measure codes are defined

To assign a property code to a quality measure code

Choose the icon, enter Quality Measure Codes, and then choose the related link.
Select (or create) a quality measure code.
Select a value in the Property Code field.

You can only choose property codes that have the same value type as the quality measure code.
If the Value Type field is Code, then choose the Quality Measure Code Values action, and add quality measure code values that match the values for the selected property code.
Close the page.

When a quality audit is posted for an item with a lot number, the item’s lot property will be updated with the result of the quality audit if a quality measure code was associated with a property code.
