About Variable Weight: Lot Everywhere Scenario
When using the Lot Everywhere scenario for variable weight, it means that a total weight is assigned to the entire lot.
For INBOUND, MOVE and OUTBOUND transactions, the weight of the entire lot is posted. The Item Ledger entries, and Warehouse entries record a transaction for each lot number.
In this diagram, a lot contains 8 cases. The total weight of the cases, which is 81.1 pounds, will be used for the INBOUND, MOVE and OUTBOUND transactions.
