Generate a Data Dictionary
JustFood provides the capability for you to generate a Data Dictionary, which is an XML file that lists tables and fields, and how they are related to one another.
To generate a data dictionary
Open the Dynamics NAV Development Environment.
Ensure the correct database is open.
Choose Tools > Object Designer.
Select the 23019000 DataDictionary XMLPort.
Choose Run.
The DataDictionary page opens in the NAV client.
On the Table Information FastTab, enter the filters that will narrow the results of the file to specific tables.
If required, in the Field FastTab, enter the filters that will narrow the results of the file to specific fields.
Choose OK.
After the XML file is finished being generated, choose Open or Save.
