History and Current Data
As part of the Analytics for JustFood setup, while performing the Connect an Analytics for JustFood Power BI template with a JustFood Database procedure, you must specify a date in the HistoryToCurrentCutoffDate field. The date that is entered reflects the historical data cut-off date and everything after this date is considered current. For example, if the data in the database goes back to 01/01/2013, and 01/01/2018 is entered, all data before 01/01/2018 is considered historical, and all data after 01/01/2018 is considered current.
Historical data is considered to be data that does not change. In contrast, current data is expected to change.
Power BI splits the JustFood data up into two different tables. One table includes a Current label and the other includes a History label. For example, the Bank Account Ledger Entry table is split in to the Bank Account Ledger Entry_Current table and the Bank Account Ledger Entry_History table.
