Enter Information Manually
You have the option of not scanning a bar code but instead entering all information manually. This option can be used in instances where a bar code was not recognized, or a label was too damaged to scan. After the information has been entered, you are prompted to print a label, which contains a unique bar code that is used during the warehouse processes.
The label that is printed is based on the value on the Label Configurations page, in the Item label type. Typically, the Inventory Label is 23019508. The label contains the bar code that is set up as the default on the Bar Code Types page. The information for the item is stored against the bar code for future use.
Prerequisites
To enter information manually, and print a new label, the following setup is required:
On the JustFood Bar Code Types page, a default bar code was defined for a GS1-128 bar code type.
