Receive Items into Containers
You can receive items, and not have them be received into containers.
Prerequisites
On the JustFood Floor Setup page:
Auto-Open Build Container on Receipt is selected.
Default Create Containers on Receipt is selected.
For the Warehouse Receipt Interface field, Guided was selected.
A purchase order (PO) or warehouse receipt was created.
Note
Depending on how you enter information in to Floor, additional prerequisites may exist.
To receive items into containers
From the Main Menu, choose Receiving.
Depending on whether a warehouse receipt was created, perform one of the following procedures:
If a warehouse receipt was not created, perform the following steps:
To view the list of released POs, choose PO Receiving, and then choose Search.
Select the PO that you want.
To create a warehouse receipt, choose Receive.
The Warehouse Receipt Lines page opens.
If a warehouse receipt was created, perform the following steps:
To view the list of warehouse receipts, choose Whse. Receiving, and then choose Search.
Select the warehouse receipt, and then choose Open.
The Warehouse Receipt Lines page opens.
To create a warehouse receipt, choose Receive.
The Warehouse Receipt Lines page opens.
Select the line that you want to receive.
The Guided Whse. Receipt Entry page opens.
Enter the information.
You have several options for entering information, for example:
Scan the vendor label, which inputs the data from the bar code. You can keep the vendor label, or print a new label.
Scan a pre-printed label, and then manually enter data.
Enter information manually, and then print a new label.
When all of the items have been received, to post the entire receipt, on the Whse. Receipt Entry page, choose Post.
You are returned to the Warehouse Receipts page.
If a receiving quality procedure was associated with a received item, and Auto-Open Quality Audit on Receipt was selected on the JustFood Floor Setup page, the Quality Audit Entry page opens. In the Quality Audit Entry page, you can enter the results of the receiving quality audit.
