Move an Item to Another Bin

Floor provides the capability for you to move an item to another bin, for example, for an item to be picked, an item may have to be moved from a receive bin and placed in a pick bin.

To move an item to another bin

1. From the Main Menu, choose Bin Replenishment.

   The Bin Replenishment page opens.

2. Choose Reclass Jnl.

   The Inv. Reclass. Entry page opens.

3. In the Location field, specify the location where the item that you want to move resides.

4. In the Bin Code field, specify the bin code that includes the item that you want to move.

5. In the Item No. field, specify the item number that represents the item that you want to move.

6. In the UOM field, specify the unit of measure for the item that you want to move.

7. In the Lot No. field, specify the lot number for the item that you want to move.

8. In the Quantity field, specify the quantity of the item that you want to move.

9. In the New Location field, specify the destination location for the item that you want to move.

10. In the New Bin Code field, specify the destination bin for the item that you want to move.

11. Choose Create.

    A record is created in the Item Reclass Journal, and then is posted.
