Build a Container
Floor provides the capability for you to group items in a container. When items are grouped in a container, the data is also grouped. When a container is built, the item tracking information for all of the container items flows through with the container number. Examples of item tracking information are the lot number, expiration date, and production date.
You can move items in to a single container, or you can split an item into multiple containers. For more information about splitting items into multiple containers, see Split Items into Multiple Containers.
Note
This function also provides the capability for you to move or reclassify the container from bin to bin.
