Register a Pick with Containers
Floor provides the capability for you to register a pick with containers. After you register a pick with containers, the warehouse shipment can be processed.
Prerequisites
A pick must be created in JustFood before it appears in Floor.
For a container to exist in JustFood, the container must contain at least one item.
Items must have PALLET as a related unit of measure.
The sales order is released, the shipment is created, and a pick is created. The creation of the pick automatically changes the shipment status to Released.
To register a pick with containers
From the Main Menu, choose Container Mgmt.
The Container Mgmt. page opens.
Choose Pick List.
The Picks page opens.
If the Picks list is not automatically populated, perform the following steps:
In the No. field, enter a value, scan a label, or to see a full picks list, leave the field blank.
In the Assigned UserID field, to see a full picks list, leave the field blank, or to see the picks assigned to a specific user, enter a user ID.
Choose Search.
On the Picks page, a list of picks is displayed. If the No. and Assigned UserID fields are blank, all released picks appear in the list.
Select the pick that you want to open, and then choose Open.
The Pick Entry page opens and the first line of the pick is automatically displayed.
The value in the Bin Code field is the Take bin, and is automatically populated based on First Expired First Out (FEFO).
The value in the Qty. to Handle field defaults to the full quantity.
The Lot No. values defaults based on FEFO.
If available, scan the item label.
When a label is scanned, the Scan fields are automatically populated, and compared against the current pick line. Comparing against the current pick line ensures that the correct product was selected. If the values do not match, an error message is displayed.
Perform one of the following steps:
Select the Place Container field, and then scan the Place container label.
In the Place Container field, manually enter a value.
Perform one of the following steps:

In the Place Bin field, manually enter a value.
To go to the next record in the pick, choose the Next (>) button.
After all picks are entered, choose Post.
All lines are posted and a registered pick is created in JustFood.
