Move Items that are Not in a Container

Floor provides the capability for you to move items in inventory that are not in a container from one location or bin to another location or bin.

To move items that are not in a container

From the Main Menu, select Reclass Jnl..

The Inv. Reclass. Entry page opens.
For each line item that is to be moved to the shipping bin, perform the following steps:
1. If required, change the value of the Location Code field.
  
  Typically, the Location Code field is automatically populated based on the User ID setup.
2. In the Bin Code field, enter a value, or scan a label of the bin that holds the item that you want to move.
3. In the Item No. field, enter a value or scan the item.
  
  The UOM is automatically populated.
4. In the Lot No. field, enter a value or scan the lot number.
5. In the Quantity field, enter the number of items to move.
6. Physically pick the item, and then move the item to the new location or bin.
7. If the item is moving from one warehouse location to another, in the New Location field, enter a value.
8. In the New Bin Code field, enter a value, or if the location requires bins, scan a label.
9. To commit the entry to a line in the journal, choose Create.
  
  The Inv. Reclass. Entry (Det) page opens.
10. Verify that the bins, location, item number, and the quantity moved are all correct.
11. If applicable, verify that the lot number is correct.
12. Perform one of the following actions:
  - To post the line, choose Post Ln.
  - To post a batch of lines, choose Post Bc.
