Post a Shipment
Floor provides the capability for you to post a shipment.
Considerations
The CSR may create the warehouse shipment to push the order to the warehouse.
If picks are used, the CSR or Warehouse Manager creates the pick in JustFood. Creating a pick in JustFood auto-releases the warehouse shipment document.
Prerequisite
The warehouse shipment document must be Released before the document appears in Floor.
The order has been picked and staged in the shipping bin.
To post a shipment
From the Main Menu, choose Shipping.
The Shipping page opens.
Choose Whse. Shipping.
The Warehouse Shipments page opens.
In the Shipment No. field, enter a value, scan a label, or to see a full shipments list, leave the field blank.
In the Location Code field, enter the code for the location where the shipment that you want to post resides.
The Location Code field may be automatically populated based on the sales order.
In the Assigned UserID field, to see the shipments that are assigned to a specific user, enter a user ID. Alternatively, to see a full list, leave the Assigned UserID field blank.
Choose Search.
On the Warehouse Shipments page, a list of shipments is displayed. If the Shipment No., Location Code and Assigned UserID fields are blank, all released shipments appear in the list.
Select the Shipment No. of the shipment that you want to open.
Choose Open.
The Warehouse Shipment Lines page opens and displays the items on the shipment.
If the pick is registered, the Completely Picked field has a value of True. If the pick is only partially picked, the Completely Picked field has a value of False.
Note
To change the Completely Picked field value to True, go to the Warehouse Shipments page, and then choose Picked.
Choose Post.
The warehouse shipment is posted and a message is displayed that indicates the posting was successful.
