Set up Floor Interfaces
You can configure how Floor pages appear. Fields can be added or removed. You can also indicate whether a field is to be display-only. As well, you can specify whether a field value is to be cleared after data is submitted.
To set up Floor interfaces
Choose , enter floor interfaces, and then choose the related link.
The Floor Interfaces page opens.
Select the record that you want to edit.
On the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.
The Floor Interface page opens.
On the General FastTab, perform the following steps:
In the Description field, enter the name that will be displayed at the top of the Floor page.
For Data List interface types, to allow the list to be spread across multiple pages, turn on Enable Paging.
In the No. Records Per Page field, if Enable Paging is turned on, enter the number of records that you want to be displayed on each page.
If you want the Post button to be displayed on the Floor page, turn on Show Post Button.
The Post button provides the capability for the handheld user to be able to post the data from Floor.
If you want the Print button to be displayed on the Floor page, turn on Show Print Button.
The Print button allows the handheld user to be able to post and print the data from Floor.
On the Lines, perform the following steps:
In the Interface Field Caption field, to change the name of a Floor field, enter a value.
To allow the field to be edited in Floor, select the Editable check box.
To display the field in Floor, select the Show check box.
NOTE: If you want a field to appear on a Guided interface, you must select the Editable and Show check boxes. The Clear on Submit check box does not apply to Guided interfaces.
To clear the field value when the data is posted, select the Clear on Submit check box.
