Set up Floor
To set up how JustFood interacts with the Floor application, use the Floor Setup page.
Note
If you want do define the settings based on location, see the Set up Floor by Location. The location settings override the settings on the Floor Setup page.
To set up Floor
Choose , enter floor setup, and then choose the related link.
The Floor Setup page opens.
On the General FastTab, perform the following steps:
On the Floor Warehouse Pick-Classic page, to have the Place Bin field automatically populated, turn on Default Place Bin. If Default Place Bin is turned off, the Place Bin field must be manually populated.
To enable warehouse shipment pick creation, turn on Whse. Shipment Pick Creation.
If Whse. Shipment Pick Creation is turned on, in Floor, when a line is opened on the Warehouse Shipments page, one of the following events occurs:
If a pick does not exist, Floor generates a pick directing the user to the multiple bins where the FEFO lots exist in the warehouse.
If a pick exists, the pick is opened.
If the check box is cleared, in Floor, when a line is opened on the Warehouse Shipments page, the pick assumes the default bin, and the quantity is automatically registered.
When a Floor user selects a warehouse shipment that has an Open status, to have the warehouse shipment automatically be released, turn on Auto-Release Whse Ship on Pick.
If Auto-Release Whse Ship on Pick is turned off, a warehouse shipment that has an Open status cannot be selected.
Unless a custom default sort order has been created, turn off Auto-Sort Pick on Creation.
If Auto-Sort Pick on Creation is turned on, when creating a pick, the custom sort order is used.
If you do not want to allow Floor users to post quantities, from the Output Journal page, that are greater than the value on the Item Card page, in the Std. Reporting Qty. field, turn on Do Not Allow Qty. greater than Std. Rep Qty. on Output Journal.
For example, you may want Floor users to only post one pallet at a time.
If you want Floor to automatically open the new quality audit when a receipt is posted and a quality audit is generated, turn on Auto-Open Quality Audit on Receipt.
If you want Floor to build containers after a receipt is posted, turn on Auto-Open Build Container on Receipt.
On the Whse. Receipt Entry page, for the Create Containers field to be displayed, Auto-Open Build Container on Receipt must be turned on and on the Interfaces page, for the WHRCPT_LINE interface, Create Containers must be set to display.
If you want Floor on the Whse. Receipt Entry page, in the Create Containers field, to automatically select Yes, turn on Default Create Containers on Receipt.
On the Whse. Receipt Entry page, for the Create Containers field to be displayed, Auto-Open Build Container on Receipt must be turned on and on the Interfaces page, for the WHRCPT_LINE interface, Create Containers must be set to display.
In the Additional Error Feedback field, specify one of the following values that represent the action Floor is to perform when an error occurs:
None: Only the original error message will be displayed.
Pop-up: A pop-up message appears with the full error message. To continue, OK or Enter must be chosen.
Note: When a pop-up opens, some devices are configured to play a sound. To stop the sound, you may have to update the device's default settings.
Sound: When an error occurs, a half-second sound is played.
Pop-up and Sound: When an error occurs, displays a pop-up message and plays a sound.
Note: If Pop-up and Sound is selected, and if a device is configured to play a sound when a pop-up opens, the user will hear two sounds.
On the Numbering FastTab, perform the following steps:
In the Reclass Posting No. Series field, specify the number series that is to be used when inventory is moved using the Reclass Journal in Floor.
In the Phys. Inv. Posting No. Series field, specify a value.
When posting physical inventory, if Floor cannot create a posting number series using the template or batch name, Floor uses this field to assign a number to the physical inventory record.
In the Quality Hold Posting No. Series field, specify the number series that is to be used when a quality hold is posted from Floor.
In the Family Consumption Posting No. Series field, specify the number series that is to be used when a family item is consumed from Floor.
On the Interfaces FastTab, perform the following steps:
In the Warehouse Pick Interface field, select one of the following types of interfaces that you want to use when processing warehouse picks:
Classic: In the Classic interface, all data entry fields are listed on a page at the same time.
Guided: In the Guided interface, one data entry field is displayed at the top of the page. You must tab to advance to the next entry field.
In the Warehouse Receipt Interface field, select one of the following types of interfaces that you want to use when processing warehouse receipts:
Classic: In the Classic interface, all data entry fields are listed on a page at the same time.
Guided: In the Guided interface, one data entry field is displayed at the top of the page. You must tab to advance to the next entry field.
