Set up Plant Labels
To print labels in Plant from the Plant Material Output page when Post is chosen, you must perform some setup in JustFood.
To determine which inventory label will be printed, Plant looks at the lines on the Label Configuration page, where the Label Type field has a value of Item.
To set up Plant labels
To configure devices to print when posting from Plant, perform the following steps:
Choose , enter plant device groups, and then choose the related link.
The Plant Device Groups page opens.
Select the Plant device group for which you want to print when posting output.
On the actions bar, choose Configuration.
The Plant Device Configuration page opens.
On the Material Output FastTab, in the Post Action field, select Post & Print.
(Optional) Create a custom Word layout report for the Inventory label (23019508).

To select the layouts for the Inventory Label report, perform the following steps:
Choose , enter label configurations, and then choose the related link.
The Label Configurations page opens.
On the action bar, choose New.
In the Label Type field, select Item.
If the report applies to a specific item, in the Item Type and Item Code fields, enter values.
If the report applies to a specific vendor, in the Source Type and Source Code fields, enter values.
If the report applies to a specific location, in the Location Type and Location Code fields, enter values.
In the Report ID field, select the report ID that represents the Inventory label.
The default report that is provided with a JustFood implementation is 23019508.
If you created a custom layout, in the Layout ID field, select the layout.
In the No. of Copies field, enter the number of extra labels to be printed.
If you don't want any extra labels to be printed, enter 0.
Update the Plant configuration.
When you change the configuration of a Plant device group, you must update the configuration from within Plant. To update the Plant configuration, perform the following steps:
Open Plant.
Choose the Plant tab.
Choose Options.
Choose Update Config.
