    What's New in JustFood 2015 | January 2015

    These Release Notes explain the JustFood fixes and new functions that are in this release.

    Floor

    The Create Pick Temporarily field was removed from the Floor Setup page.

    Platform

    The following pages were simplified by moving some fields to the “Show more fields” areas of the FastTabs: Purchase Credit Memos, , Purchase Invoice, Purchase Invoices, Purchase Order, Purchase Order List, Purchase Order Subform, Sales Cr. Memo Subform, Sales Credit Memo, Sales Credit Memos, Sales Invoice, Sales Invoice List, Sales Order, Sales Order List, Sales Order Subform, Sales Quotes, Whse. Pick Subform, Whse. Put-away Subform, Whse. Receipt Subform, Whse. Shipment Subform.

    Quality

    The Quality Audit Matrix action was added to the following pages: Customer Card, Employee Card, Employee List, Fixed Asset Card, Fixed Asset List, Item Card ,Item List, Machine Center Card, Machine Center List, Vendor Card, Vendor List, Work Center Card, Work Center List.

    RapidStart

    The JUSTFOOD RapidStart package was updated so that it does NOT set the Automatic Cost Posting field (2) to TRUE in the Inventory Setup table (313). This was done because users, who set this, should see the message about potential locking that could happen when turning this setting on.

    Reports

    In JustFood 2015, report layouts can now be created in Word. You can also create and modify your own custom RDLC and Word report layouts. For more information about the new report functionality, see Create and Modify a Custom Report or Document Layout.

    The following Word reports were updated to support JustFood functionality:

    • Sales - Confirmation (1305)
    • Sales - Credit Memo (1307)
    • Sales - Invoice (1306)
    • Sales - Quote (1304)

Inventory Entry (Det.) may not be set to be editable; this is by design.
    45893 FLOOR In Floor, on the "Phys. Inventory Entry" page, after entering data in the "Item No." field, the system would return focus to the "Item No." field instead of moving to the next field on the form. This has been fixed.
    44767 INGREDIENTS AND NUTRIENTS COD23019510 When the Ingredient Calculation is run for a FG item, the Factbox did not display the correct calculation for all ingredients in the BOM. This has been fixed.
    46022 INGREDIENTS AND NUTRIENTS COD23019510 When you attempt to calculate ingredients for an item that has components with ingredients, the Ingredient declaration text is repeating those ingredients. This has been fixed.
    43868 MANUFACTURING PAG99000809 REP23019532 TAB99000779 An error was occurring when clicking Create Prod. Order on the BOM Version page. This has been fixed.
    45352 MANUFACTURING REP23019556 The Assign Lot function on the Consolidated Prod Jnl page was finding the list of available lots for the bin code on production order component bin code, instead of the bin code on journal. This has been fixed.
    45744 MANUFACTURING PAG23019026 PAG23019027 PAG23019481 PAG23019546 PAG23019568 PAG23019732 REP23019523 When assigning lots in the consolidated Prod Journal, the Tracking Status should be changed to "Filled" but the following message was displayed when Card was clicked. This has been fixed.
    43519 PLANT COD23019468 The Lot Number algorithm was not working in Plant. When posting output in Plant, leaving the lot number blank allows the system to use the lot algorithm, however, when assigning lot numbers during Material Output in Plant, the Lot No. algorithm is not displaying/calculating the correct lot. This has been fixed.
    43823 PLANT The multi-tenant capability was added to Plant.
    44419 PLANT On the Plant Consumption screen, the Item tracking was showing two records for the same lot number. This has been fixed.
    45812 PLANT When installing Plant, doesn't look like the web service addresses in the config file are being used. This has been fixed.
    45875 PLANT In Plant, when clicking the Lookup button on the Material Consumption screen, the following error was received: "Attempted to Divide by zero." This has been fixed.
    45878 PLANT In Plant, when clicking the Lookup button on the Material Output Options screen, the following error was received: "Attempted to Divide by zero." This has been fixed
    45883 PLANT When you uncheck the Hide Metrics Pane in the Options page and go into Material Consumption, the Metrics Pane should be visible but it's not. This has been fixed.
    45884 PLANT Cannot uncheck the Hide Metrics Pane on the Output TABof the Options page. The field appears to be disabled and always checked. This has been fixed.
    45886 PLANT When you click the log out button on Plant, it doesn't do anything. This has been fixed.
    45887 PLANT Cannot change the Execution Mode from Live to Test, the data that was selected was not saved when pressed the Enter key or tabbed off the field. This has been fixed.
    45889 PLANT When you select a different company on the Options page, the data is not saved. This has been fixed.
    45891 PLANT When click Item Ledger, Capacity Ledger, Value Entries or Warehouse Entries on the Material Consumption page in Plant, receive the message: Attempted to Divide by zero. This has been fixed.
    45896 PLANT "Attempted to Divide by zero" error when searching for an item number in the Material Consumption page and clicked on the lookup button. This has been fixed.
    45942 PLANT When Show Country of Origin is checked on Plant Device Group, the Country of Origin field on the Material Output Page in Plant was not being displayed. This has been fixed.
    45948 PLANT The labels on the Expected vs Actual chart are difficult to see. This has been fixed.
    45953 PLANT Release Date is not visible on Material Output Options page. this has been fixed.

    45958 PLANT Unable to post the material output. This has been fixed.
    45961 PLANT Object reference not set to an instance of an object when switching work centers in the Calendar. This has been fixed.

    46030 PLANT Expected vs Actual chart did not update after the consumption was posted. This has been fixed.
    46031 PLANT The quantity Expected should be on the left and the Actual should be on the right (to match label) on the Chart in the Material Consumption page. This has been fixed.
    46069 PLANT The Prod. Order Routing page now sorts by production order in descending order.
    46123 PLANT Plant was crashing when posting the output. This has been fixed.

    43908 PLATFORM PAG23019201 The caption of the "Subform" on the Quality Procedures Setup page was not named according to Microsoft's standards. It has been renamed to 'Lines'.
    44433 PLATFORM COD104025 Able to upgrade a JF2013R2 FP2 database to JF2015. Need to use an upgrade toolkit.
    45069 PLATFORM REP1306 The Mini Sales-Invoice report (1306) was changed to include JF specific functionality.
    45089 PLATFORM TAB7321 An error was occurring when trying to print reports related to shipment lines or open warehouse shipment lines. The length of the External Doc. No. field was changed to 35 from 20 to fix the issue.
    45219 PLATFORM REP1307 The Word layout of the Mini Sales-Credit report (1307) was changed to support JustFoodERP functionality.

    45531 QUALITY MGMT REP5753 A shipping agent quality audit is not being created automatically when a warehouse receipt is created from a purchase order, even though the Auto-Create QA on Whse. Doc. check box is selected on the Shipping Agents page. This has been fixed.
    39580 REPORTING REP23019351 An error occurred in the Print Preview when running the Capacity Ledger Personnel report (23019351) with the Remove Allocated Lots option selected. This has been fixed.
    43392 REPORTING PAG5701 In the Stockkeeping Unit List page, there were invalid Report references in the Report section of the Actions tab. References to the non-existent reports "Inventory - List" (701) and "Inventory Availability" (705) have been removed. The Item/Vendor Catalog link has been fixed.
    43897 REPORTING REP23019080 In the Customer Sales Analysis by Item report, the length of the external doc should be 35, not 20. This has been fixed.
    43898 REPORTING REP5702 The page size for the Transfer Order report was set to A4, which could cause issue with some printers. This has been fixed by changing the paper size to Letter.
    44418 REPORTING REP23019672 The Vendor Commission Payout report was not printing correctly. This has been fixed.
    44455 REPORTING COD5776 The Warehouse Order Pick report (23019023) was deleted as it is no longer used in the system. If a customer requires this report, they need to do it as a custom range report.
    45532 REPORTING REP23019079 REP23019080 The Report Total quantity was not calculating correctly on the Item Sales Analysis by Cust. and Customer Sales Analysis by Itm reports. This has been fixed.
    45966 REPORTING REP10075 The RDLC version of the Sales Order Confirmation (10075) report was not printing correctly. This has been fixed.
    43864 SALES AND MARKETING COD23019660 The Sales & Receivables Setup flag for "Ord. Rule Combo Price Priority"::"Use Combination Price" was not being respected during combination price calculation. (If an Item price were valid, it would always apply even if a Combination price were also valid.) This has been fixed.

    44025 SCHEDULER When creating an absence from within Scheduler, you can't distinguish between work centers or machine centers. This has been fixed.
    44040 SCHEDULER The Appointment page in Scheduler is incorrectly labeled. This has been fixed.
    44052 SCHEDULER In Scheduler, when you switch views from Month to Day, Day is not highlighted in the ribbon. This has been fixed.
    44054 SCHEDULER In Scheduler, the controls are cut-off on the Add Absence page. This has been fixed.
    45790 SCHEDULER Absences could not be deleted from Scheduler. This has been fixed.
    45892 SCHEDULER When you right-click a selected production released order and select alternate routing by right-clicking, it opens up the Comments page instead. This has been fixed.
    39154 WHSE AND INVENTORY When creating a pick from a Warehouse Shipment in a non-directed environment, if no lines were suggested due to a Production Date issue, the ERROR message had an extra '.' at the end. This was fixed in bug 40786.
    39253 WHSE AND INVENTORY PAG23019831 On the Container Worksheet page, the Container Details FastTABcould not be expanded. This has been fixed.
    43691 WHSE AND INVENTORY TAB23019012 On the Code Property Values page, the Code field was changed to accept a value with up to 30 characters.
    43890 WHSE AND INVENTORY TAB5700 Creating a SKU card for a standard costed item does not populate the Unit Cost field. This has been fixed.
    44015 WHSE AND INVENTORY COD7301 COD4307 When Bin Contents entries are going to zero (ex. once last Item is sold), the Bin Content entry remains in the system with zero quantity. There is a field on the Location Page on the Rules TABcalled "Non DPP Bin Content Fixed Rule" that is expected to clear out the Bin Content entries once they go to zero. With the "Non DPP Bin Content Fixed Rule" = Default to Not Fixed, this was not working as expected. This has been fixed.
    44403 WHSE AND INVENTORY COD23019555 When using Item Grading to consume the remaining quantity of an Item Ledger Entry -- either partially or wholly -- AND outputting an amount less than the total consumed, the consumption entry leaves behind a small decimal amount in remaining quantity. This has been fixed.
    45530 WHSE AND INVENTORY COD23019004 Fixed an issue with "Auto-Create Dimension" values when creating master Item, Vendor, and Customer records. In the very rare case that the Dimension Value already exists, the system would fail with an unexpected ERROR: "You cannot change the value of an AutoIncrement field...". This has been fixed.
    46108 WHSE AND INVENTORY COD6500 On the Inventory Overview page, the "Show Containers" option would incorrectly clear out all detail lines relating to non-warehouse Locations. This has been fixed.
