    Post a Preventative Maintenance Work Order

    After a Preventative Maintenance (PM) Work Order has been updated with the results of a completed PM Procedure, the PM Work Order can be posted.

    Prerequisites

    • A PM Work Order has been created. For more information, see Create a Preventative Maintenance Work Order.

    • The person that is responsible for processing the PM Work Order has finished updating the PM Work Order with the results of a completed PM Procedure. For more information, see Update a Preventative Maintenance Work Order.

    To post a PM Work Order

    1. From the Prev. Maintenance Technician role center home page, choose PM Work Orders.

      The PM Work Order page opens.

    2. Select the PM Work Order No. that is associated with the PM Work Order that you want to post.

      The Work Order page opens.

    3. On the action bar, choose Actions > Posting > Post.

      A dialog box that displays the following question appears:

      Do you wish to post this PM Work Order?

    4. Choose Yes.

      The PM Work Order is posted.
