Validate a Warehouse Shipment that uses Dock Staging
When dock staging is turned on and after a warehouse pick has been registered, a load validation is required. Before the warehouse shipment can be posted, the warehouse shipment must pass a load validation of all place containers that were specified on the pick.
To inform users that one or more containers require validation, on the Warehouse Shipment page, the following notification message is displayed:
<number> container(s) on shipment <warehouse shipment no.> needs validation.
When a user tries to post a warehouse shipment before the load validation has been completed, the following error message is displayed:
Shipment must be validated before posting.
To validation a warehouse shipment that uses dock staging
On the Warehouse Shipment page, on the action bar, choose Process > Load Validation.
The Load Validation
page opens and displays a list of all place containers that were specified on the pick.
(Optional) To view the contents of the Container No., on the action bar, choose Navigate > Contents.
The Load Validation Contents page opens. After you have reviewed the page, to return to the Load Validation page, choose
.On the Load Validation page, for each container, after you have successfully performed a validation of the container, select Validate.
After you have successfully validated all containers, to continue with posting, on the action bar, choose Actions > Continue Posting.
