Set up the Planning Overage Percentage

You must define the percentage that determines whether an item appears on the Family Production Worksheet page, on the Family Overages FactBox.

If the overage is greater than the defined percentage, the overage is displayed on the Family Overages FactBox.

For example, when the Family Prod. Planning Overage % value is 10, if the overage is less than 10% of the demand, the overage is not listed in the Family Overages FactBox.

To set up the planning overage percentage

  1. Choose Tell me what you want to do, enter manufacturing setup, and then choose the related link.

    The Manufacturing Setup page opens.

  2. On the Family Production FastTab, in the Family Prod. Planning Overage % field, enter a value.
